I fell in love with makeup long before I ever held a brush professionally. I grew up watching my grandma dab on her Chanel no. 5 to go with her lip stick and my mom getting ready for her hairdressing clients- both of them transforming right in front of me. 
I didn't know it then, but I was studying the art of making women feel like their most confident selves.

Then I hit middle school...and acne hit me. HARD! 

I spent over six months on acne medication when I was 13. The breakouts, the redness, the insecurity- it was brutal. I remember avoiding cameras, dreading school pictures, and thinking makeup was supposed to "hide" me.
That's why I'm obsessed with skin-first, acne-aware, romantic artistry. I know exactly what it's like to sit in a chair hoping a makeup artist won't make your texture worse, won't shame your skin, and won't just cake on coverage. 
My approach today is built from that experience: gentle prep, elevated soft glam, breathable products, and techniques that honor your real skin- not bury it.
